Boxing

Boxing is a combat sport in which two individuals, usually wearing protective gloves, engage in a contest of strength, speed, and strategy by throwing punches at each other. The competitors aim to score points by landing punches on their opponent while avoiding being hit. Matches are typically held in a boxing ring and are divided into rounds, with each round lasting a specified duration. Boxing has a rich history and is governed by rules that regulate the conduct of the fighters, including scoring, legal and illegal strikes, and conditions for winning, such as knockout (KO) or judges’ decision. It is recognized as both a professional sport and an amateur competition, with various organizations overseeing ranks, titles, and tournaments.
